—— Frequently asked questions
A vault is a container that groups accounts by context — personal, business, shared with your partner. Each vault has its own preferred currency and the accounts live inside it. You can create as many as you need; there is no limit.
Each account has its own currency. Transfers between accounts in different currencies ask for an explicit exchange rate at the moment — we do not assume it for you. Balances always show in the account native currency; vault totals convert to the preferred currency.
When you record a card purchase you specify the number of installments. Monarka applies the full amount to the card balance and creates N view transactions (one per installment) that appear in the corresponding cycles. Paying the card is a transfer from another account into the card.
A recurring rule describes a movement that repeats — rent, salary, subscription. Monarka materializes them automatically into real transactions based on the schedule. You can configure them as auto-confirmed or pending review before they hit the balance.
Yes. Each user only sees their own data — Postgres with Row Level Security guarantees isolation at the database level. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth (they never touch our code). If you want to download or delete your data, email privacidad@monarka.lat.
